  • Confirm this with your new provider. Number porting is offered for: VoIP phone line conversions, DSL, or just a normal phone line.
  • Once your new service is up and running, THAT'S when you request to port your number.
  • Your new telephone number will be ported for your old one.
  • This is the only way to port a phone number without canceling services.
