Welcome to your new phone system
You now have access to telephony from two integrated devices:
- Your regular handset.
- Soft phone in Pronto.
Pronto Preferences and Settings

From Pronto Settings window:
Note that in the right pane of Pronto Settings window, we have now exposed tabbed panes for:
- Voice Mail
- Simultaneous Ring
- Divert Calls
- Block Calls
- Custom Ringback
The following steps will explain how to configure those tabbed panes...
Voice Mail Tab
- After
If this option is selected, then the voicemail application will be started after the specified period of time, or immediately, if your account has no registered device.
- On Error
If this option is selected, then the voicemail application will be started if the call fails for any reason other than "no answer", "no response", "busy", "busy everywhere", "declined"
Click Update to save changes.

Simultaneous Ring Tab
You can configure your account to ring additional devices, people, or applications.
- Status Enabled
When this option is enabled, the incoming call causes your registered devices to ring. If you do not answer within the specified period of time, the call is "forked" to some other address (device, person, application), while your devices continue to ring.
Click Update to save changes.
Divert Calls Tab
You can configure your account to redirect or reject incoming calls based on certain conditions.

Setting your Home PSTN Number
Setting your Home PSTN Number allows a single number, such as your cell, to bypass the voicemail greeting when dialing your direct number.
You will be immediately prompted to enter your voicemail PIN to access your messages quickly.
Set your Home PSTN Number by first logging into your LookOut Skin.
Go to http://mail.fastmetrics.com & enter:
- Username:
This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
- Password
- Layout: select Look Out
- Select Language
- Click Sign In
From the Pronto main window:
- Click Call Control from the options bar in upper right portion of Pronto main window.
Within the Call Control settings window:
- Click the Settings tab.
- Enter your desired home number in the Home PSTN Number field.
- If you do not set a home number, or are dialing from a different number, check voicemail from any phone by dialing your direct number and pressing #. You will then be prompted for your PIN.
- Set Alternative Contact (Number):
Use LookOut to configure an Alternative Contact. If a caller presses 9 in the voicemail menu, they are transferred to your Alternative Contact.
For example, set your receptionist, operator or company directory.
Callers can transfer here if they do not want to leave a voicemail, by pressing 9 in the menu.
- Click Save.

- Select Settings from the drop down menu.
- Select the microphone tab from the list of tabs at bottom of window.
