How do I set up Microsoft outlook express to send and receive e-mails?

 

Open Microsoft Outlook Express.

This illustration shows how to launch Outlook Express using the Start menu.
Start Menu

 

Select the Tools menu from the main menu.

Select Accounts from the Tools menu.

Click on the Mail tab Select Mail Tab

 

Click the Add button.

Then select Mail from the menu that appears.
Add Mail Account

 

For Display name nter the name you want to associate with this email account.

Normally this will be your first and last name.

Then click Next.
Enter User Name

 

For E-mail address enter the full email address for this account.

Example: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
Enter Email Address

 

Select the server type you will be using.

Enter the incoming and outgoing mail servers.

This will be mail.yourdomain.com.

Then click Next.
Select Server Type

 

For Account name enter your full email address.

For Password enter the password you set up for this account.

Optionally select Remember password by placing a check there.

Then click Next.
Login Info

 

Outlook express is now ready to send and receive emails.

Click Finish.
Process Complete
